In support of the Minnesota- China Partnership, Best Buy Children’s Foundation funded the development of a special web-based educational project, called the Minnesota-China Connection, to provide Minnesota’s students and teachers with information, resources, and learning tools focused on China.
In addition to the Minnesota-China Connection project, the state has embarked upon an ambitious plan to enhance the study of Mandarin in K-12 schools. The Legislature has provided funding for the state Department of Education to develop a model Chinese language curriculum that will be made available to every school district in Minnesota.
