Here are some sample calendars that demonstrate the variety of ways
in which the Minnesota-China Connection project can be integrated
into Minnesota classrooms. The calendars are set up for use during
the weeks before, during, and after Governor Pawlenty’s Trade
Mission to China.These calendars are intended to serve as guides;
teachers will know best which activities and resources will best
support their students' needs, interests, and learning goals and
can gauge how much time activities will take in their own classrooms.
Note that most of the learning activities may be adapted to become
appropriate for different grade levels.
Note to Special Education Teachers: See each specific learning activity's "Accommodations" section
for ways to change the activity to accommodate students with special
needs, knowledge and skills.
